How important is spirituality in your life?

I am a spiritual person. Moreover, I am also a religious person.

In my perspective, I am spiritual because I am more than matter in the physical realm. The observation that I can use the “I” and the “I am” is sufficient for me to accept that I am more than flesh.

I say I am religious because I spent a good portion of my 66 years looking for an expression in the “I am” in me that fits how the “I am” in me, expresses itself.

Eventually, I did return to the religion of my youth and embraced those rites and rituals, but I did so knowing what the significance of the rites were in the expression of the “I am” in me. 

This may not work for everyone, but it does work for me, and I have peace within myself with the solution I have created which answers my need as the “I am” spirit.

By the way, I’m in the Philippines. It is 12:41 AM here, and tomorrow is another day. I hope you find peace however it comes to you.
