Hey there,
Guess what? I’m writing to you today with an update on a project that’s been keeping me busy – the Stealth Runner! Remember how I mentioned wanting to help out the Filipino fisherfolk in the West Philippine Sea? Well, this is how I’m doing it!
The Stealth Runner is basically a guardian angel for these hardworking folks. It’s a specially designed civilian boat, built entirely with local materials (think sustainable seas and supporting Filipino artisans!). It might not look like much, but this beauty is quiet – super quiet! We’re talking a muffled engine and a propeller designed to glide through the water without a peep. The idea is to help the fisherfolk with their catch without scaring away all the fish.
Now, here’s the thing: this is still a work in progress. We’re currently in the design phase, but the dream is to have a whole fleet of Stealth Runners patrolling the West Philippine Sea. Here’s where you, my awesome friend, come in.
We’re looking for all kinds of support – donations to help build these boats, marketing whizzes to spread the word, folks with nautical skills to lend a hand, and anyone who wants to join the crew when we finally set sail. Remember, every little bit counts!
Speaking of setting sail, if you’re interested in learning more about the project, check out our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest) or listen to our podcast on Spotify. There’s even a Patreon page set up if you’d like to contribute financially.
Hey, this might be a crazy dream of an old man, but with your help, we can make it a reality for the Filipino fisherfolk. Talk soon!
Best,
Cliff Potts
P.S. Stay tuned for next week’s update! I’ll be diving deeper into the eco-friendly aspects of the Stealth Runner.
