What profession do you admire most and why?

I admire the published best seller authors. I’ve loved books since I read “The Andromeda Strain” in 6th grade. That started me on reading every biological science fiction I could find. By the time I graduated 8th grade my reading level was at freshman college level.

A good book, even a mediocre book, can take you places that didn’t exist and never would. You can find a place to escape again and again.

My goal, or most admired profession, is a prized author. I add short fiction here as an acknowledgement of the craft.

It’s up to you to decide if those interjections of fiction are worth reading once or twice.
