What are you doing this evening?

Evening here starts with prayers broadcast over the PA from the nearby Catholic Church. It is a signal to all that it is time to wind down the day’s activity, and spend time with family and friends.

For me it is the time to gather at the table with my beloved wife and son and eat. Tonight we’ll have chicken adobo, with rice, and fresh pineapple, and bananas for dessert.

After dinner my son retires to his room to play COD. I pull up Netflix on my laptop to watch reruns. Tonight I’ll be finishing off iZombie, and watch Lost, House, Law and Order: SVU, and Voyager, or Enterprise.

I take my night meds at 8:30 ish, and crawl into bed around 10:00. This is followed by about 30 minutes of listening to Michener’s Poland, and sleep comes by 11:00, or 12:00 or 1:00 AM.
