The Great Move: How GoDaddy Artisans Led the Shift to Home-Based Agents Amid COVID-19

This began in March 2020 when COVID shut down the world.
We, the infamous artisans at GoDaddy in Hiawatha, Iowa, went from joking about having a Cold Corona with a Lyme wedge, to scattering around Linn County in quickly assembled work from home installations.
We rolled out the Installations on March 20th. We spent a week bringing the Home Based Agents online.

As a Technical Company we pulled off a moon landing. In the course of less than two weeks we collectively moved over 500 operators to home offices. Quite a feat,

The company thanked us for our hard work, they gave us a reimbursement stipend to cover expenses. That’s all. We kept them in business when technology was needed the most, they made record profits, and we got a “Thank you, you did good, now get back to work.”

We had our lives disrupted. We did not know what was happening. Like
everyone else, we did not know how infectious COVID was. We did not know how it spread. We did not know how we protect ourselves? “Stay away from others, wash your hands, and don’t go out,” was what we got from the Republican Administration, and the CDC, and the WHO. And our employer, unwittingly or otherwise, was milking the situation. Home Based Agents reduce overhead in a call center environment.

That brings us to the anthology you have in your hands.This book (initially a website) was put together to be a distraction from the gloom and woes of the time with real ghost stories. And, the rest as is , “is history.” Read for yourself 60 plus years accounts and encounters in the real Paranormal normality.
