Projects like WPS.News and The Stealth Runner are my lifelines, keeping my spirit alive amidst the challenges of island life. Engaging with them isn’t just a task; it’s a thrilling adventure! The very essence of navigating the watery expanses around me fuels my passion and creativity, making every effort feel truly inspired.
It was all good until these bad eggs, a Chinese Tong called the Chinese Maritime Militia showed up and started messing with people’s livelihood. They are a lot like the Chinese Bloods. That’s just not cool.
After doing a lot of research I came up with the Stealth Runner. I’m going to guess, you may already know about as much about it as you want to by now.
It’s a lot like the old days when Chuck Itzenthaler, my high school cohort, and I would brainstorm car designs, lasers, sounds systems, RF generators, and who knows what else. This time, however, I don’t want the idea to get parked unfinished.
I get that most folks don’t give a rats ass about what’s going on in the Philippines. The United States just elected a Criminal Mastermind (what else are you going to call him?). People are dealing with those ramifications. And I guess the economy there really is in the toilet. Sorry things are that though, but I didn’t think you were in another great recession. Anyway, I digress. Your plate is full, so what should you care about some geopolitical bull half way around the world? I get that.
Remember I am on record saying that the USA is due for another Civil War. If you are feeling any part of that pain, I am sorry too. I feel you. That’s painful.
Much of the time I go on about the projects because, I’m excited. Remember to me, the idea is as fulfilling as the object. In all our plans, Chuck and I found as much, if not more, satisfaction in figuring out how to do something, as much as doing it. I share this because the idea, the concept excites me. It’s fun.
Right now, I do have medical issues to address here. My wife, as you know, has cancer.* That’s not a good thing. It is not good at all. She is doing well since the surgery, but she is dealing with pain, and she is healing. That’s the elephant in our living room.
No one is ignoring it. We are dealing with it as beast as we can. Again, thank you to all of you who helped me get that surgery bill whittled down, you really did save her life. Thank you so very much for that.
I am concerned about her. Now, more than ever the two projects keep my spirits up, and my sanity in one piece (presuming it ever was).
That’s where we are at. We are taking care of health issues, and whittling some time away by configuring the Stealth Runner. That’s how I roll. I’m just keeping it real.
