My journey, like many others, has had its share of missteps and important lessons.

A Journey of Learning

Throughout my career, I’ve written works like “Conspirators, Confederates, and Cronies,” which focuses on the rise of the Religious Right. This book was reedited in 2014 and subsequently re-released as “Conspirators, Confederates, and Christians: The Occupy Wall Street Edition.” In these works, I aimed to articulate my concerns about the emerging influences that would significantly shape our society. While I take pride in having recognized early signs of these crucial trends—such as the rise of certain political ideologies and the warning signs of the Great Recession—I also recognize that my perspectives have evolved over time. I have made mistakes in my analyses and have had to confront the reality that I don’t always have the full picture. This openness to learning is a fundamental part of my journey.

On my blog, WPS.News, I strive to provide daily updates that link current events with historical trends. For example, when new protests arise, I reflect on earlier discussions I’ve had, showing how history can offer valuable insights. I aim to present data and analyses from reliable sources, not just to validate my viewpoints but to foster a deeper understanding of the issues we collectively face.
