A Global Call to Unite Against Fascism

To the Esteemed Leaders of the African Union, the European Union, the Nations of South America, the Democracies of Asia and India, and the UK,

I hope this letter finds you in good spirit and health. Today, I write to you not just as a citizen of the United States, but as a concerned member of the global community. As you are well aware, our world faces many challenges, and often, the United States is blamed for various issues that extend far beyond our borders. While we must take responsibility for our actions, I urge you to consider a different angle in confronting the growing threat of fascism that has recently taken hold within our nation.

We find ourselves in a troubling time where divisive ideologies and authoritarianism are rearing their heads. Many Americans feel helpless and overwhelmed, uncertain about how to reclaim the values of democracy, unity, and justice that once defined us. I speak honestly when I say that we are struggling to confront these forces on our own. It can feel as if we have lost our way, and many of us worry that our ability to navigate out of this darkness has been eclipsed.

As global partners who share similar democratic values, I kindly extend an invitation to you. Come to the United States and engage with us directly. We cannot overlook the importance of perspectives from different parts of the world, especially when these experiences can teach us effective strategies for rebuilding and strengthening our democracies. Your insights, compassion, and commitment to justice can inspire and empower us to rise against today’s challenges.

This is a call for collaboration. Let us work together to address the burgeoning influence of fascism and its consequences for all of humanity. With your help, we can foster dialogue that not only holds our leadership accountable but also encourages grassroots movements for change.

Your nations have faced immense trials and have overcome adversity. The lessons learned from your struggles can serve as a beacon of hope for the United States. We have the potential to stand together and resist the tide of oppression that threatens not just our nation, but the world at large.

Let us create a path forward that unites us in purpose and principle. Together, we can extinguish the flames of hate and division and instead cultivate an enduring legacy of peace and cooperation.
