Independent internet radio station operating briefly under the name “USAFWZ” on Live365. The format combined music, news, and commentary in a progressive talk radio style.
2001–2011 (Intermittent) — USAFWZ (United States of America Free Web Zone)
Originally established as the website for the USAFWZ internet radio project. The domain was later intermittently associated with Blogger-hosted commentary and related projects.
2001–2005 — SpiritFlight.org
Website focused on spiritual exploration outside institutional religious structures. The site maintained an independent alternative-religious tone and was briefly associated with the Fellowship of Observism (circa 2001–2002).
2004–2026 (Intermittent) — CliffPotts.org
Personal domain used across multiple phases, including as a book listing/author page, a redirect to Blogger-hosted content that later evolved into WPS News, a campaign site during a Benton County, Iowa recorder candidacy, and later as a mixed-use landing and distribution page.
2006–2009 — YouTube (Early Phase, “America’s Magi”)
Original commentary channel active from approximately 2006 until voluntarily removed in 2009 following employment as an Apple contractor. Content consisted primarily of original talking-head analysis and commentary.
2010 — YouTube (Interim Phase)
Short-lived return to YouTube in 2010, likely under the name “Cliff Potts” (unconfirmed). This phase ended following a catastrophic hard drive failure later that year.
May 2011–2014 — YouTube (Sustained Phase, “Cliff Potts”)
Channel operated under the name “Cliff Potts,” featuring regular original commentary uploads, including a period of near-daily production. Activity slowed significantly after 2014.
2014–Present — YouTube (Archival/Limited Activity Phase)
Channel remained active with reduced long-form production. In approximately 2023, the channel name changed to “WPS News Today,” later updated to “WTFM / WPS News Today” during development discussions for a potential online radio revival. Current activity consists primarily of short-form uploads.
