Where did your name come from?
I was named after a good friend of my parents who I never met. It has no translation into any other language. It is English in origin. It translates in Middle English to from the Cliff by the Ford, or from the Mountain Side by the crossing of the spring. They have the same meaning.

I have no idea how or why my parents chose my name.
In adulthood, found out it’s a man’s name in France. Which I found out when a Frenchman from France was adamant it could NOT be my name. Yes it is, on my birth certificate. 😀
