A Successful Post Is Published

Eventually, a user does what is suggested. An update is written. A photograph is selected. The post is published with care, intention, and the reasonable expectation that it will reach the people for whom it was written.

The act feels complete. The system confirms receipt. The content now exists.

On Invisible Delivery

What happens next is less obvious. The post does not travel equally. It is filtered, ranked, and quietly sorted before being shown, if at all.

Many intended recipients will never encounter it. Not because they opted out. Not because they were unavailable. Simply because the system decided otherwise.

Waiting as Feedback

Days pass. Then weeks. The absence of response begins to feel personal, even when it is procedural.

The user may wonder whether the message was uninteresting, poorly timed, or simply ignored. The possibility that it was never shown is rarely emphasized.

A Mild Realization

One might ask what it means to speak into a space where delivery is selective and silence is ambiguous. Whether communication remains mutual when visibility is conditional.

These considerations need not trouble us. The post was shared, after all.

Whether it was seen is another matter.
